Countdown to the
BIS Lit Fest

Welcome to the official website of the first ever BIS Lit Fest which will take place on 18th, 19th and 20th March 2019 at our Senior School campus!

We have curated an eclectic line-up of writers and performers with an aim to invite you to fall in love - or in some cases fall deeper in love - with storytelling of all kinds, from street poetry to Shakespearean drama to good old prose fiction.

Learn how you can make these modes of expression yours in workshops at the end of each session.

Dig in!

WHAT IS THE BIS LIT FEST?

The BIS Lit Fest is a celebration of Literature. Literature in its many forms: Drama, Poetry set to music, and Prose. The Festival brings together some great performers: from Anita Vachharajani who celebrates the life of artist Amrita Sher-Gil through her book Amrita Sher-Gil: rebel with a paintbrush, Namita Devidayal who writes about her other true love, music to Dharavi Rap Poets Old Brotherz who bring to life a world we have never seen, and literary theatre from seasoned performers Shaun Williams and Roo Jhala McLaughlin. This is only a small glimpse of all that’s in store for you at the BIS Lit Fest. Come, celebrate the written word.
