Starting from 1998, Deepti has had a versatile teaching career. Deepti started her teaching as a lecturer of Professional Communication at Engineering College, Ajmer. She moved to Delhi and served at The Engineering college of AKG as a Senior Lecturer in Business Communication. She also got the opportunity of teaching Soft Skills at the IIT, New Delhi. She then moved to Mumbai and joined the Cathedral and John Connon School as a grade 3 class teacher. Her latest is ELA specialist at the BIS Family. Deepti has acquired the skill of teaching both senior and junior children. She believes that students, at any given age, learn the most when they are engaged by their own interest. She likes to call herself a story teller! She strongly feels that Creativity originates from free imagination mixed with a smidgen of guided technique. When Deepti’s not teaching, she is interacting with her own children, involving herself in speech n drama, composing poems, writing short stories, blogging on animals, writing travelogues and dancing on indo- Western music and cooking and baking. She’s driven by the cause of welfare for stray animals and cancer patients. She’s also a member of The Savera Foundation, helping the semi blind learn vocational courses. Her motto, “A good teacher is a very good learner!”
