I have a M.Ed-Special Education from National Institute of Education, Singapore. To augment my education, while pursuing my Master’s I volunteered at various special needs schools in Singapore.The combination of real-classroom experience and graduate education in a new cultural environment has helped me tremendously – exposing me to an entirely different educational experience (both in terms of styles of learning and teaching) Prior to this, I was a Special Educator in Mumbai for 4.5 years. I feel that education should be made accessible for everyone and no one should be denied it. This has played a key role in me choosing to pursue this field and take it up as a career because there is a massive need for educators world over.
