Palak Turakhia

Palak’s educational background is multidimensional. She has done her BA with a Political science major. She is an LLB graduate from KC College of Law and is currently pursuing her B.Ed from SNDT Women’s college. She is passionate about teaching primary since 2011. She has worked enthusiastically with several reputed organisations before joining BIS.

She has attended various Cambridge workshops in teaching and learning and has received training for the IB PYP.

She believes that her role as an educator is to encourage students to develop the necessary skills that will enable them to be successful and lifelong learners. In doing this, she strives to raise their level of confidence, encourage learning as an enjoyable journey and urge them to have an inquiry mindset. She personally looks into their emotional wellbeing as she believes that each child learns best when he/she is happy.
