Tanya completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Government Law College, Mumbai.

She practiced law before the Bombay High Court and other Courts and Tribunals in Mumbai for over 3 years. Tanya has worked as a volunteer teacher at an orphanage and at a school for tribal underprivileged children. She is a committed vegetarian and is passionate about animal rights and welfare and has worked for animal rights organizations in the past. Tanya is a dog lover and in her free time, she enjoys gardening and cooking.
