Kimberley has recently submitted her Ph.D thesis in international relation with a focus on the US to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her thesis focused on presidential leadership and the making of US foreign policy with special reference to President Obama’s policy towards Iran.
During her Ph.D, she was awarded the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Fellowship 2017-2018. As part of the Fulbright, she spent two semesters at the American University, Washington D.C. working on her Ph.D thesis.
In addition to the Ph.D, she holds a Master of Philosophy in International Studies (US policy) from JNU. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in History from the University of Mumbai.
She has worked as a Researcher at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), a New Delhi based think tank. At IPCS, her publications related to US policy in general and Iran in particular.
In addition to these academic achievements, she has written numerous articles that have featured in the Huffington Post, Firstpost and other think tank publications as well as journals.
