The first week of August marked an important event, as students received their stationary packages for the year, heralding the start of the new year.
August is also marked with several important public holidays such as Independence Day, Parsi New Year, Muharram, and Raksha Bandhan. Various grades learnt about the holidays and their significance. The children ended the month with “Gujarati Diwas”, hearing stories, cultural traditions, poetry and songs in Gujarati.
